Services for Tucker
Thank you all for your kinds messages of support and love in the last few hours.
An official obituary should appear in tomorrow's News-Sentinel, but here are the details.
Services will be held at Second Baptist Church, 2909 N. Broadway, 37917, 865.689.3311. (From I-640, take the Broadway exit and proceed south about 2 miles. The church is on the right directly across from First Tennessee and Broadway Sound)
A memorial and celebration service will begin promptly at 6 p.m. with visitation to follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, we are requesting either balloons (in primary colors) or donations be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of East Tennessee. Donations can be made by calling 865.909.WISH (9474) or online at www.wishetn.org. Follow the tabs for giving and choose a tribute or memorial option. You can send a card and designate a donation in Tucker's honor. If an email is needed for us, please use candy1078@comcast.net. Please also make sure to designate donations for the Make-A-Wish of East Tennessee. We want to make the same difference for a local family that they made for us.
Thank you again. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow.

I'm so sorry to hear about Tucker today. I will be thinking about you all and praying for your continued strength. It's hard to know what to say during this difficult time but your words throughout Tucker's obstacles have spoken volumes. I hope that you feel as much comfort and love around you right now, as you have shown so many others for a long time.

Monty and Candy,
You have not met us but we are Allison (Alli's) parents from Rogersville. She told of your loss this morning and we lift you and your family up to God's gracious comforting arms and pray for your strength and courage during this time.

Dear Party of Five,
I wish I had words to convey my emotions about your loss. Tonight I sat and read every entry on this site and celebrated the amazing life of your beautiful Tucker. Although we've never met, my heart breaks for you tonight. We too are a Dr. Jonas family and were actually in the CICU last year "with you." I wish we had met, but I know that I was led to you nonetheless.
Please know that Tucker's life, his smile, his beautiful eyes and the love he radiated touched so many people. Your updates are such a tribute to your family, your faith, and to the love you had for your son.
I pray for peace and compassion in the days ahead. I know how loved you are and I hope there is solace in that and in knowing that Tucker always knew how very much you all loved him.
With love,
The Kurz Family

Monty, Candy and Family,
We heard at connection time Saturday morning of your loss and heaven's gain, and our hearts were and are with you continually. We lift your family up in prayer and love you so much. The thought of Tucker running around, laughing is the most prominent thought today. With so much love, Teresa

Monty and Candy,
You don't know me. I just recently heard about Tucker's story from my girlfriends at work. I read your updates about your baby from the time he was born until Friday. Your story is so so powerful. Your faith has stood strong through this journey, and WOW what a testimony. Although you may not see it, your story is such an encouragement to others. I will be praying for your family as you heal through this hard time. When you feel you can't stand strong any more, fall on Him. Your in my thoughts and prayers,
Amber

I could see Jesus in you last night as you got up in front of everyone. Thank you for being obedient to God in these difficult circumstances. In spite of your grief, I could see the peace that passes all understanding as God guides you through this step in your lives. May God continue to richly bless you. May He be glorified in all you say and do. I pray for your family as you adjust to life "without Tucker". Love you!

Dear Candy and Monty,
We have never met but I heard about Tucker sometime ago and have kept up thru the website. This is truly one of the most difficult times you will go through in your lives. Having lost a baby daughter myself, I can relate to you in so many ways. While I know the pain is so great and you feel so empty please know that your family is in the prayers of so many across the country. Tucker's little life has touched thousands for the Lord. Though he suffered much in his short time here he is reaping the rewards now in Heaven. Please rest in the comfort of knowing that he is with His Almighty Father Forever to rejoice and be totally healed of his pains. God used Tucker for His Glory and now Heaven has truly gained an angel. Your family is continually in our thoughts and prayers.
In Christ,
Rebekah Lee

I recently heard of Tuckers story from a co-worker. After spending several hours reading every entry on this website I must say that I am moved. Although we have no way of knowing why God does things I think we all know that he has a special reason for everything. I pray that God will heal your families heart. Please keep us updated as to how your family is doing.
